The National TravellerWomen’s Forum is the national network of Traveller women’s organisations.
We currently have 65 member groups.
The organisation employs 4 staff and is governed by the co-ordinating group which is appointed yearly at the AGM by members.
Role of Voluntary Board of Management
- To oversee the implementation of the Strategic Plan
- To ensure full compliance with al financial & legal requirements of the NTWF
- To ensure all relevant polices are in place and being implemented.
- To support staff to implement Strategic Plan
- To ensure adequate SS/S structures for all staff team are in place & being implemented.
- To take a representative role (as agreed) for the organisation.
- To ensure they as a management board participate in training to support them to implement their role as a Board of Management
- To ensure all staff have up to date Job Descriptions & Contracts of Employment (End of May)
Role of Staff Team
- To deliver on the work of the Strategic Plan as agreed for their area of work with the BOM.
- To contribute to the production of relevant reports on the work for the BOM
- To support the BOM in their role
- To participate fully in SS/S structures
- To participate in training to endure they can deliver on their area of work. (agreed through Job Spec development)
